The story isn't over yet: a sequel to the Tokyo Revengers anime is on the way!

The upcoming project was announced at this weekend's fan event, celebrating the fourth anniversary of the anime adaptation of Ken Wakui's manga. While most of the project is still shrouded in mystery—including exactly what form it will take and when it will debut—we do have a few breadcrumbs. A new key visual shows a wounded Takemichi and Mikey, and the project's announcement video recaps important moments from across the series:

That's not the end of the announcements, though! Next year will mark the fifth anniversary of the anime's debut, and plans are underway for a big celebration. The first step of the project is the upcoming Dachi Live, a character image song concert taking place on Feburary 2, 2025 at Kanagawa's Pacifico Yokohama. Before that, a new character image song album will be released on October 23. Titled Duet EP 01it will feature duets sung between series characters.

Additionally, plans are afoot for Fairy Tale Revengers, a chibi gag series in which Tokyo Revengers characters retell classic stories. The first one to be produced will be a new version of the tale of Momotaro.

One more very cool bit of news: the Japan Anniversary Association has officially recognized June 19 as "Tokyo Revengers Day/Manji Gang Founding Anniversary."

We'll be keeping an eye on all this news and more as it's available. In the meantime, you can watch Tokyo Revengers right here on Crunchyroll!

Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that's reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had, in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he's standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he's about to die, but when he opens his eyes back up, he somehow had gone back in time 12 years. Now that he's back living the best days of his life, Takemichi decides to get revenge on his life.
